Magnify – Real Time KPI Management
Traditionally managers conduct daily or weekly meetings with their staff to both discuss performance and set objectives for the day or week ahead.
Whilst useful management and motivational tools, these meetings fail to address issues as they arise. One could argue, for example, that there is little point in discussing with a consultant why they did not meet their phone call KPI last Tuesday, when there is nothing that can be done about it now.
Target includes the magnify module which improves management by providing managers with real time KPI information on the KPI performance of their consultants. Now not only can managers address issues as they arise, but also, managers can slash the time it takes to prepare for management meetings since all the statistics are at their fingertips.
Magnify is a highly graphical representation of who is performing well and who is not. The information is updated every few minutes and each manager can select which activities he/she wishes to monitor from any of the activities being monitored by Target. For a seleced activty the manager can monitor performance for the current day, week and month.
Magnify uses a traffic light colouring system to make it easily to identify where issues are. Red dials indicate underperformance, whilst green dials indicate where consultants are at or ahead of target on specified KPIs. Orange dials indicate performance that is between red and green.
If users prefer, they can opt to see the numbers themselves, and in fact there are a number of designs of magnify to suit all tastes.
Behind the main magnify screen, managers can drill down to the data itself and see the actual figures for the current day, week and month and can also look at key efficiency ratios on a consultant by consultant basis.
The final part to magnify is to act as a portal to the analyser module. Whilst monitoring a consultant in magnify, the manager can for example, at a click of a button, compare the fee or activity performance of that consultant against other consultants. Maintaining Quality Standards
In addition to monitoring the activity for a consultant, managers can also monitor key efficiency ratios.
Efficiency ratios provide a very simple way of ensuring that quality standards are being manitained. For example, if the number of CVs sent per 1st Interview is on the increase it is likely that the consultant is being less selective about the CVs that they are sending out.
With the magnify module, managers have all the tools they need to analyse efficiency ratios for a consultant and compare them to either similar consultants or indeed the average ratio for the sector etc.
